Looking for a comfortable place to stay while exploring Bruges, Ghent, Sluis or the beautiful Meetjesland region?
BnB The Attic offers a warm, spacious and peaceful retreat in the heart of Maldegem — perfect for couples, families and small groups.

Our bright attic room is designed to make you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. With air conditioning, plenty of space and a flexible layout for up to 8 guests, it is ideal for a relaxing overnight stay or a cosy getaway with family or friends.

Families with children are always welcome. A special family discount may be available, so feel free to send us a message before booking.

Comfort, space and a homely atmosphere

The attic includes a spacious sleeping area and a comfortable sitting corner where you can unwind after a day of exploring. Enjoy a quiet evening with Smart TV, Netflix, Chromecast, ultra high-speed internet, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Coffee, tea and tap water are complimentary, so you can settle in and feel at home right away.

Please note that we do not serve breakfast, but you are welcome to make use of the shared kitchen downstairs.

Your private space, with a friendly host nearby

During your stay, you have exclusive access to the attic room and its cosy living area. The rest of the house is shared with your host.

You are welcome to use the shared facilities, including two toilets, the bathroom, kitchen, garage and garden terrace. The garage is especially useful if you are travelling by motorcycle or bicycle.

I like to keep my own living space private, but I am always nearby if you need anything. Whether you are looking for local tips, restaurant recommendations or practical help during your stay, I am happy to assist.

The perfect base for exploring

Maldegem is located in the picturesque Meetjesland region, a wonderful area for cycling, walking and discovering the Belgian countryside. Thanks to its convenient location near the E34 and N9, you can easily visit some of the most charming places in the region.

Bruges is about 25 minutes away, Ghent around 35 minutes, Knokke about 20 minutes, and Sluis is also close by for a relaxed day trip across the Dutch border.

For those who would like to discover Bruges or Ghent in a more personal way, we also collaborate with a knowledgeable local guide who can take you on a private tour.

Maldegem also has a lovely selection of cafés and restaurants, and parking is easy nearby for both cars and motorcycles.
